Sally Harrison

Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy (1996)

Profile

Initially a professional dancer, I retired early due to injury. From 2002, I then started working as a physio, personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Having suffered injuries, surgery and chronic pain myself, I made it my mission to really understand the body, how it moves, and how to feel better, especially as we age.

I have worked with professional dance companies, shows and training schools, and presented for many national dance, health and fitness events.

I am a dance, gym and Yoga enthusiast and feel that movement is the key to health, both physical and mental.

My treatment process

I take a very holistic approach to assessment and treatment. Everything in your body is connected, inside and out, and you need to be viewed that way. I aim to find the actual ‘driver’ for your symptoms and work with you to learn about your body, what it can and can’t do and why. From the treatment table back to full activity and beyond, we can work to whatever level you need.

I take a complete body and mind approach to assist in your healing and give you the knowledge to help yourself in the future.
